2023 Year In Numbers
December 20, 2023How to prepare for 5G RedCap (Reduced Capacity) for your IoT projects?
January 22, 2024We had the pleasure of kicking off the year with CES 2024, you always evaluate tradeshows on the basis of time & money, and we say it’s well worth it! Ultimately the show was buzzing with 130,000 attendees and over 4,000 exhibitors and with free exhibition tickets and cheap flights from Atlanta to Vegas it’s a no brainer to attend.
During our attendance we had a slew of meetings with the Simplex Team. We met Customers, Vendors and Partners during that time, and we had 1 hour that was not booked. We felt that we were speed dating as we started each meeting, we had to set the stop time to allow us to make the next transition.
My personal favorite at CES, was again satisfying my inner geek browsing all the Chinese, Taiwanese OEMs and ODMs to see what they offer. With Simplex we stopped and chatted with companies that had cellular connectivity in their product portfolio and there was a slew of them. From Trail Cameras, Security Cameras, Routers, Ambulances to Farming products.
When it came to Simplex related offerings, we met with technology providers and customers, and we really believe the puck is going towards that SGP.32 eSIM specification with all the discussions we had there. It’s a no brainer to have supported through the ecosystem and we believe 2024 it is the year we start seeing adoption for the technology even with the delays of GSMA.
Again, time well spent and stay tuned for our big announcements in Barcelona 2024! See you there!
